Empowering Your Journey
Nathan Ewell is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (P-LPC) and a counseling associate at the Oxford Counseling Collective. He earned his degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Before counseling, Nathan built a career in teaching and healthcare. He worked as an ESL teacher, a nurse, and a nurse educator, including international work in Spain, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan, and time with Lafayette County Schools. That background shaped how he works: he listens closely, takes his time, and meets people where they are.
He is trained in the Gottman Method and certified in SYMBIS, tools he uses with couples preparing for marriage or working to strengthen the one they have.
As a P-LPC, Nathan practices alongside and under the clinical supervision of the Oxford Counseling Collective, with Denease Bishop, LPC-S, serving as his supervisor.
